At our school 5 years old is the youngest age that we start children in private piano lessons. At this age they have begun to develop longer attention spans and are able to retain material with ease.

2nd grade students who have taken at least 4 months of piano lessons solve proportional math problems at a 6th grade level. After learning eighth, quarter, half, and whole notes, 2nd and 3rd graders scored 100% higher than their peers.

..SCHOOL POLICIES
Registration: 10 Post - dated cheques from September to June made payable to Bg Music Academy Ltd on the first day of each month.
Registration fee for the whole year is $30.00. Fee for all Classes must be paid in full.- Make up Lessons will only be given with 24 hours notice of cancellation, otherwise no make up lesson will be given at all.
- Make up lesson must be made up within the same calendar month. There will be absolutely NO REFUNDS for missed lesson or classes.

1. Parents who may not have a musical background will appreciate their children being evaluated by a nationally and internationally acclaimed standard. Successful examination completion can give them assurance that their children are progressing well and that their money is well spent on lessons. 2. Examinations may be used for high school credits and the RCM Examinations Certificate Program is a reference standard for university entrance requirements. In some employment situations, holding an ARCT can mean placement in a higher pay bracket.

Typical lesson duration is 30 minutes but 45 minutes to one hour lessons can be requested. Lessons are once per week, suited to meet the needs of grade or level requirement.
