Students will gain an understanding of the basic concepts and techniques required to play the blues while playing songs by artists such as BB King, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters and Chuck Berry to name a few. Special attention will be paid to rhythm guitar and soloing techniques to create a strong foundation in blues guitar. All materials are included and as always, students are welcome to use one of our classroom guitars during their lesson.
    • The student should practice at least ½ hour a day three to five days a week. Find a time slot that fits into your family schedule. It is not a good idea to go more than a couple of days without practicing.
